Early Memorial Day

Don’t send Jeremy MacGray to the store. That’s all I’m saying.

Last weekend we had plans to hang out with my brother and sister-in-law but hadn’t nailed down the details. I decided that I’d make a strawberry pie regardless if we went out or ordered in, because strawberry pie is the best. As I set about making it, Jeremy decided he wanted burgers and offered to go to the store to pick everything up.

We had 4 adults and 5 kids and the man came back with six pounds of ground beef, an eight pack of hot dogs, a six pack of brats, 21 hamburger buns, and 12 hot dog buns.

Jeremy jumps into everything he does with two feet.

So we ate burgers and hot dogs and brats and chips and strawberry pie and rang in Memorial Day early.

Meanwhile, the kids are eating leftover buns for “snacks.”
